ADDITIONAL SERVICES

The Readiness Box

An add-on to your full trip planning package

Some people want everything on their phone. Others want to hold it in their hands. If you're the second kind of person, this is for you.

A few weeks before you leave, a box shows up at your door — printed itinerary, confirmations, destination-specific travel goodies, my notes on what to actually do when you get there, and a few extras I pick based on where you're going. It's the kind of thing that makes the trip feel real before you've even packed.

Ask about it when we start planning.

How It Works

  • Icon of a clipboard with checkboxes and a pencil, representing form filling or document verification.

    Step 1: Book a Call

Grab a time on my calendar directly — no forms, no back and forth. Just pick a time that works and we'll go from there.

  • Line drawing of a phone receiver with sound waves emanating from it, icon representing phone communication

Step 2: Discovery Call & Planning

We'll talk through where you want to go, who's coming, and what kind of experience you're after. Once you're ready to move forward, you'll pay the planning fee and share your travel details so I can start building your proposal.

  • Icon of a document with lines of text and a checkmark in a circle, representing approval or verification.

    Step 3: Proposal Review

I'll put together a custom proposal based on everything we discussed — hotels, experiences, routing, pacing. Your feedback here matters. The faster we align, the faster I can lock in the good stuff.

  • Icon of two location pins connected by a dashed path, representing navigation or route planning.

    Step 4: Confirm Your Itinerary

Once you approve the proposal, you'll receive your deposit invoice. Timing on deposits varies depending on the trip and the partners involved — I'll walk you through all of it.

  • Line drawing of two champagne glasses clinking in a toast.

    Step 5: The Fun Part

From here you just show up. You'll have app access to your itinerary, support while you're there, and a follow-up when you're back.

FAQs

  • Not at all. Europe is my specialty but it's far from the whole list. Client favorites beyond Europe include Japan, Costa Rica, African safaris, Alaskan cruises, Hawaii, Caribbean multigenerational trips, and Grand Canyon road trips. If it's on your list, ask me. Chances are I can help.

  • Time, sanity, and someone who actually knows the places you're going. I have firsthand knowledge of the destinations I book, vetted partners on the ground who know where to eat and what to skip, and nothing falls through the cracks because I'm watching all of it — before you leave and while you're there. I also use an app that keeps all your documents and bookings in one place so you're never digging through emails looking for a confirmation number.

  • Sometimes yes, sometimes it's a wash. What you're really getting isn't a discount — it's someone who knows which hotel is actually worth the price, which tour operator is legitimate, and where spending more changes the trip versus where it doesn't matter. That's harder to put a number on but it's the real value.

  • No — and here's why. My partners have confidential contracts with hotels and local operators, the same way a restaurant doesn't itemize the cost of every ingredient on your plate. What I can tell you is that I do the due diligence on pricing, I work with preferred suppliers I have long-term relationships with, and my job is to make sure every dollar is going somewhere that makes your trip better.

  • I don't work with individually managed properties. I book through vetted property managers and trusted suppliers — which means the place exists as advertised, the photos are accurate, and there's a real person to call if something goes wrong. I can almost always find a boutique or apartment-style property that gives you the local feel without the risk.

  • Because you get me — Kat — through the entire process. Not a call center, not a different agent every time. "We've been there" isn't just a slogan. I focus on destinations I've either visited myself or sent enough clients to that I know exactly what to expect. I'll tell you what's worth it, what's overhyped, and what would actually fit how you travel. And I don't disappear after you pay.

Your next trip is waiting.
